Chicago Mayor Daley Not Running For Re-Election (Chicago)

This just out! Wild is it not? I think a lot of people  who live in Cook Co. are quite happy about this, i am sure the Alderman are shaking in their boots.

(Washington Post writes) "Daley said Tuesday he's been thinking about not running for several months and has become comfortable with his decision over the last several weeks. Daley says "it just feels right." Daley says the time to move on "is now."


The 68-year-old Democrat has been Chicago's mayor since 1989."
