Back From The Brink LiquidMetal (LQMT)

Now you know me i do not talk very much about individual stocks, i am going to change direction a bit in this post. A little stock which i actually followed years ago by the name of LiquidMetal ticker LQMT has been around for sometime though they had some iffy financing and a not so inviting share structure.

These issues coupled with no major revenue sources because of the nature of its new technology made them not very attractive. Their technology has been used in all kinds of non mass market items such as Omega watches and luxury cellphones, but have failed to break into the mainstream market as the products have a high cost of manufacturing.

As of a few days ago the future of this company was looking decent but the news that Apple might use their technology on Iphone and computer case's their future looks even better. The technology LQMT was developed at Caltech and is being licensed by Apple for use exclusively in consumer electronics. As for other applications of the technology the company has free reign. The relationship with Apple and the use of its technology will surely cause other markets to look into LQMT's technology for other new future applications.

Granted this stock has moved nearly 50% week, the price of this stock is still at levels where it could be worth a shot tucking some away. Keep an eye on this thing, i tucked some away under 90c maybe the increased attention can cause.
